Norwegian food production company Mills DA has relaunched its Soft Flora and Vita hjertego' margarine products in an updated bespoke pack supplied by RPC Superfos.
The food company's latest move to adopt renewed and improved packaging solution is part of its action plan for keeping its customers interested in its brand and product.
In order to create the new packaging, a team from Mills and an external industrial designer have worked together with RPC Superfos.
Mills senior packaging consultant Ole Kristian Vestbekken said that the company's margarine business demands continuous development, also in terms of packaging.
"With the new packaging we have successfully created a strong family image on shelf for Vita hjertego' and Soft Flora - each in three sizes. All varieties have the same visual expression," Vestbekken added.
Distinctive character has been created for Soft Flora and Vita hjertego' margarine and the pack is easy to recognize strengthening the relation between Mills' products and its customers.
Focus was placed on the design of the lid to see that customers would get a better lid both in terms of looks as well as functionality.
The artwork signals softness and natural ingredients and the decorations and graphic finish have been made possible due to in-mold labeling.
"The quality of the lid is very important. We chose a tight and strong snap-on lid that will not crack even after frequent use," Vestbekken concluded.
