Citroen has revealed details of C4 Cactus AIRFLOW 2L Concept ahead of its scheduled debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Based on the company's other flagship C4 model, Cactus AIRFLOW is powered by The PureTech 82 engine combined with Hybrid Air technology, which is designed to reduce fuel consumption, delivering up to 2l/100 km.
Citroen has also used carbon coating in the engine to reduce friction besides offering lower rolling resistance.
Cactus AIRFLOW is 1,729 mm wide and 4,156 mm long, but the overall weight of the hybrid car has been reduced by 100 kg when compared to Citroen C4 by using lighter parts.
The car will provide three driving modes - air power, petrol power and combined power where it will use both air and petrol power to provide a pleasant driving experience.
It features new front bumper, LED light modules, mobile side deflector, Air Curtain at the wheel arches, and rearview cameras.
The design of Cactus AIRFLOW aims at improving the car's aerodynamics by 20% and reduces vehicle drag.
