2019 Ford F-150 Limited Gets Raptor's 450-Horsepower Engine

Ford has upgraded the 2019 F-150 Limited with a high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.

The automaker cliams that rated at 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque, the new Ford F-150 Limited offers more power than any light-duty pickup on the road.

The new F-150 Limited offers a range of Ford technologies ranging from optional Pro Trailer Backup Assist to standard 360-degree camera system; FordPass Connect 4G LTE modem provides Wi-Fi access for up to 10 devices.

The F-150 Limited is fitted with a dual exhaust system and the exhaust tips are integrated smoothly into the rear bumper cutouts.

The interior of the vehicle has been designed to be luxurious and features the best of Ford’s craftsmanship.

On the exterior of the vehicle, the ‘Limited’ lettering has been raised on the hood. The vehicle has polished aluminum 22-inch wheels, with satin-finish grille and tailgate appliqué and satin-finish window trim and door handles.

Ford truck group marketing manager Todd Eckert said: “F-150 Limited customers create their own success. The truck is their reward.  They wanted more power, so we combined Raptor’s engine with Limited’s business-class features to deliver Baja fierceness, boardroom style and the grit to tackle tough jobs.”

Besides, the interior and exterior styling, the F-150 Limited comes with technology upgrades. An integrated trailer brake controller is a standard, along with a 360-degree camera with split-view display.

Pro Trailer Backup Assist has been added as optional, which makes maneuvering easy, by letting drivers rotate a knob to control its direction, with the truck automatically steering to follow the course selected.

F-150 Limited also features driver-assist technology. The standard adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality allows drivers to set a cruising speed and then uses radar and camera technology to monitor traffic and will maintain a set distance between vehicles. It can even follow one down to complete stop.

The Standard Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking can help drivers to avoid or mitigate collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians. An Active park assist has also been installed, which will help in parallel parking.

F-150 Limited comes with SYNC 3 with AppLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a FordPass Connect 4G LTE modem that offers Wi-Fi access for up to 10 devices.
