EnWave has entered into an agreement with processed meat firm Campofrio Food to support the development of new dried meat products with its Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) dehydration technology.
This agreement is the second collaboration with a processed meat producer, established by EnWave.
The first was signed with a US meat firm and progressed from a collaborative agreement to a commercial royalty-bearing license in July.
EnWave chairman and co-CEO Dr. Tim Durance said, "REV? technology has proven to be a viable and attractive option for the dehydration of meat products."
Campofrio Operations & Strategic Sourcing SVP Karl-Heinz Kiesel said that product innovation is a driving force to achieving long-term, accelerated growth and profit.
"EnWave's REV? technology will allow Campofrio to explore new product development opportunities and potentially address some of the changing needs of consumers in Europe," Kiesel added.
