Cadillac, a luxury automobile and SUV division of US automaker General Motors (GM), has introduced the new four-seat Elmiraj Concept coupe at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in California.
The new two-door concept is powered by a 4.5L twin turbocharged V8 engine that generates an output of 500hp, which is claimed to be one of GM's most powerful variant.
Measuring 205in in length, the new rear-wheel-drive concept is built with chassis and structural elements of an ongoing Cadillac vehicle development project scheduled for future production.
Features of the concept coupe include transparent analog tachometer and speedometer; 10-inch touchscreen for navigation and connectivity; 22-x-9in aluminum wheels and large ceramic brakes with Cadillac monoblock opposed-piston brake calipers.
The interior and exterior of the model was designed at General Motors' design studio in California, with the complete vehicle being hand-built by in-house craftsmen in Michigan.
