Health Sciences North has chosen Terra Nova to provide complete transcription and speech recognition editing services.
Terra Nova is involved in providing clinical documentation services to hospital and clinic facilities in Canada and the US.
Health Sciences North decision support and reporting director Sandra Duhamel said the contract for outsourced transcription services went through the company's full competitive bidding process, adhering to Ontario's supply chain guidelines.
"We are pleased to say that this process has resulted in the contract being awarded to the company that met all the criteria set out in the RFP," Duhamel added
"We chose Terra Nova because we believe they will be the right partner to help improve efficiency in our organization."
