Tenneco will be supplying its continuously variable semi-active (CVSAe) suspension Monroe Intelligent Suspension to the newly launched Renault Talisman D-segment sedan.
The Talisman provides what Renault calls a personalized driving experience via its Multi-Sense technology, which offers drivers the choice of comfort, sport, eco, neutral and perso modes.
Tenneco's CVSAe technology is available as an option within Renault's Multi-Sense system, allowing drivers to select outstanding ride comfort or dynamic, agile handling for a sportier ride. The Talisman model offers a shortcut button to switch instantly between the comfort and sport modes.
Tenneco Ride Performance senior vice president Enrique Orta said: "Our Monroe Intelligent Suspension portfolio offers our OE customers a choice of advanced technologies that can be seamlessly integrated into their vehicle control systems to help deliver a superior driving experience."
"We are delighted that Renault has chosen Monroe Intelligent Suspension for this innovative new compact, executive sedan with its combination of four-wheel steering and semi-active suspension."
The Talisman is the second model in the Renault range to feature Monroe Intelligent Suspension. In 2014, Renault launched CVSAe on its new Espace.
