KYB Americas Corp. Expects to Complete Construction of a New Manufacturing Plant

KYB Americas Corp. expects to complete construction of a new manufacturing plant in Silao, Guanajuanto, Mexico, in Dec. 2013. The plant will begin making hydraulic pumps for automobile continuously variable transmissions in 2014.

Automotive shocks, struts and steering components will be manufactured at the plant in the future, according to the company. The plant is expected to employ 130 people.

"Over the last 10 years KYB has been very aggressive in expanding our capabilities and operations in North America and this new plant is a confirmation of our continued commitment," says KYB Americas Vice President Mike Fiorito. 

KYB Americas is a subsidiary of KYB Corpis a $4 billion global hydraulics manufacturer with over 8,100 employees that sells its products in over 100 countries.
