The Isuzu D-Max ute now shares the longest warranty in its segment after its coverage was extended from three to five years from 1st January 2013.
Isuzu’s five-year/130,000km warranty matches that already offered by the Mitsubishi Triton, and the company has also extended its roadside assistance program to five years correspondingly.
The new warranty, which increased from three years/100,000km, is available to the general public and fleet buyers and can be transferred to new owners if the D-Max is sold during the five years.
Isuzu Ute Australia is aiming for an eight per cent share of the ute segment locally by 2014, targeting annual sales in excess of 11,000.
The Isuzu D-Max is priced from $27,200 and is available in multiple 4×2 and 4×4 configurations.
