Desert Mountain Will Target Massive Nickel-Copper Sulphide Deposits

Desert Mountain will target massive nickel-copper sulphide deposits in a new diamond drilling program commencing this week at the Innouendy target, which is located in the Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia.

More specifically Desert Mountain is focusing on deposits in discrete mafic to ultramafic intrusive bodies in the high-grade gneissic terrane.

The initial 400 metre hole is targeting the EM conductor at a target depth of around 250-300 metre downhole, which will take around a fortnight to complete.

Desert's cash position was USD 1.4 million at the end of September 2012, with the company announcing post the quarter end that a 1:4 non renounceable rights issue of ordinary shares to raise up to USD 900,000.

Aurora Minerals holds a 40% stake in Desert Mountain.
