Jowat Introduces New Adhesive for Window Profile Wrapping

Jowat has introduced a new high-performance adhesive for window profile wrapping.

The new adhesive offers higher initial strength due to shorter open time, as well as quality end product even at higher line speeds and with rigid foils.

Jowatherm-Reaktant 604.25 adhesive will also maximize the efficiency of laminating processes.

It can be molten and processed at lower temperatures, helping to reduce the thermal stress on the adhesive and on the thermoplastic foil.

The adhesive can also be used in combination with conventional, as well as VOC-reduced, NEP-free primers.

The firm’s adhesive systems include PUR hot melts and primers that can be used for window profile wrapping.

According to the company, the Jowatherm-Reaktant 604.25 is the optimal adhesive that can be used in combination with modern VOC-reduced, NEP-free primers

When used along with other Jowat primers, the new adhesive will accelerate crosslinking during the laminating process of the PVC window profile.

In August, the company introduced new all-round adhesive for all laminating processes of vehicle interiors.

The new Jowatherm-Reaktant 642.00 adhesive is said to offer good initial strength, short holding times and processing cycles even at high ambient temperatures.

The all-round new PUR hot melt is suitable for all 3D laminating applications in the automotive industry. It is also suitable for press lamination, as well as vacuum deep-drawing.
