Geotab, a global positioning system fleet management and vehicle tracking firm, has introduced its OBD fleet management system in association with mobile telecommunications provider O2 in the UK.
With this, O2, a commercial brand of Telefónica UK, is supplying two new GPS fleet management and vehicle tracking systems - the O2 Track and Go and O2 Smart Tracking - to their Fleet Telematics portfolio.
The systems are said to aid firms in reducing operational costs, enabling real time remote vehicle monitoring and monitor driver behavior.

Catering to sectors pertaining to car rental, leasing, courier, beverages and utility fleets for emhancing on-road productivity, on-road safety, and ecological efficiency, the technology provides real time fleet management and generates number of alerts, notifications and review vehicle trip.
Its on-board diagnostics flaunts engine indicators that send alerts regarding engine failures and conducts an in-depth engine fault code diagnosis.
