French carmaker Renault has partnered with IMA Group to provide assistance for the Renault and Dacia internal-combustion vehicle ranges in France.
The carmaker has signed a three year agreement, which covers assistance services as part of the manufacturer warranty, service contracts, and non-warranty services invoiced to customers.
Created in 1984, the Renault Assistance service comprises a fleet of more than 350 Renault tow trucks at 200 Renault Retail Group sites and Renault dealerships, together with over 150 agencies.
Earlier, the French carmaker and Chinese Dongfeng Motor received an approval from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) for their joint venture company, Dongfeng Renault Automotive Company (DRAC), in China.
This partnership will allow Renault to implement its strategy to strengthen its scale and depth in the Chinese market and extend its industrial footprint.
Dongfeng will use this opportunity to further consolidate global resources and achieve development in the automotive market.
