Loma Systems is exhibiting a range of metal detection, checkweighing and X-ray inspection systems at the All4Pack packaging exhibition in Paris, Germany.
The company will focus on its compact X5c X-ray inspection system and CW3 combination checkweighing and metal detection unit.
It will also unveil a IQ3+ Pipeline metal detector for highly sensitive inline inspection of diced, ground and chopped meat along with slurries and pastes and INSIGHT PH (pharmaceutical) metal detector, metal detector conveyor system and INSIGHT vertical fall metal detector.
The X5c X-ray inspection system has been developed in response to increasing demand for a low cost, yet highly functional X-ray system.
More and more retailers these days are specifying the use of X-ray and the product is aimed at companies with multi-product, retail ready lines, ready to switch to X-ray inspection.
The system is ideal for detecting glass, calcified bone, rubber, stone as well as ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel metal in various packaging. It operates at 50 metres per minute and can measure one metre in length.
Loma’s CW3 Compact Combo has 30% less footprint than similar systems and can ensure high quality levels with superior inspection within limited space. It has a modular design and can adapt to a range of products due to true variable frequency metal detection and versatile checkweighing capabilities.
The checkweigher system can weigh up to 6kg in weight for a wide range of rigid and flexible packs. It comes with in line heights from 700mm to 1200mm and total system lengths from 1610mm to 2100mm and inspect up to 80 packs per minute.
Loma’s IQ3+ Pipeline metal detector is capable of being fitted into any pipeline system can easily be integrated with vacuum fillers and clipping and linking systems.
The company claims that its INSIGHT PH pharmaceutical metal detector has been designed to exceed stringent industry demands. The metal detector when combined with OPTIX detector management software, INSIGHT PH can display a detailed product profile to achieve perfect product setups with the help of Direct Digital Signal vector diagram.
Also, Loma will be showcasing its INSIGHT vertical fall metal detector which is suitable for detecting metal contaminants in freely falling materials such as cereals, cocoa, coffee sugars, spices, dried fruit and vegetables, flour, milk powder products and rice.
