UK-based pasta producer Ugo Foods is set to launch three new pasta products under its Dell’Ugo Deli line at 150 Waitrose stores.
The new products include Crab & Crayfish with a hint of lemon & chilli; Asparagus, Pea & Mint; and Wild Mushroom with truffle oil. The new lines of Dell'Ugo products will be available nationwide now in Waitrose and cost pound 3.99 for the vegetarian options and pound 4.99 for seafood.
Ugo Foods head of marketing Helena Jevons said that the company is seeking to take a lead in premium pasta segment.
"The Dell'Ugo brand is well recognised by the Waitrose consumer who has been requesting more adventurous recipes and a "dinner party" proposition," Jevons added.
Dell'Ugo is the UK's leading fresh pasta brand. It specializes in making filled and unfilled pasta, based on authentic Italian recipes.
