WA Stationery sales manager Kane Smith has won a Brother HL-3045CN laser printer in the 'early bird' nomination draw in this year's Brother/Stationery News Reseller of the Year Awards .
Smith's name was drawn from all nominations received prior to April 30.
Stationery News informed Smith of his win the day after WA Stationery's successful trade show in Perth, highlights of which will be featured in the June issue of Stationery News.
Nominations for the reseller and supplier of the years awards close on May 25.
All nominations received will go in the draw for another terrific Brother product – a Brother P-touch PT-2730 Desktop Labeller (valued at $199).
There are two ways to vote – click here to vote online or use the printed nomination form, inserted in the latest issue of Stationery News.
The awards, now in their 12th year, recognise the resellers that have performed best over the past 12 months based on a range of criteria, including sales performance, new business development, marketing strategy and development of staff.
As in previous awards, resellers are defined as independently-owned retail or commercial stationers or newsagents.
Suppliers to the office products industry are eligible to nominate up to three candidates in two categories – 'Under $5 million' and 'Over $5 million' in turnover.
Finalists are selected based on the overall number of nominations and then judged by Stationery News against independently-weighted criteria.
The judging criteria has been refined to reflect the key performance indicators that apply to the industry's most progressive and successful businesses.
Resellers and newsagents are invited to submit nominations for the keenly-contested 'Supplier of the Year' Award.
The awards presentation will be held on 21 September at the Clovelly Surf Club, Clovelly Beach, NSW.
