Turn-key labeling services provider Sunwest Print has migrated to Solarsoft Business Systems to streamline operations, in order to replace its manual spreadsheet-based systems with one integrated real-time business system.
The firm looked for an integrated real-time business system that could help streamline day-to-day operations for the packaging retail operations.
Sunwest Print vice president sales and marketing Alex Hansen hoped the solution would serve a better way to track raw material components, including the silicone, adhesive, liner and sheet, which go into the coater and emerge as finished laminated rolls.
"We can currently track finished goods from the press onwards, but Solarsoft's shop floor software offers superior raw material tracking." added Hansen.
According to the firm, the solution would provide dashboards that will have up-to-date information about their business performance.
Solarsoft provides enterprise software and IT services to manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers.
Sunwest has offices in multiple locations throughout the West of Canada and the US.
