Wipro's global information technology, consulting and outsourcing business Wipro Technologies in collaboration with Microsoft has introduced Wipro AssureHealth platform to offer healthcare providers with new solutions for remote fetal monitoring and cardiac care .
The platform uses Microsoft's Cloud, Mobility and Analytics offerings to provide fetal monitoring service and deliver accurate recordings of maternal, fetal heart rate and uterine activity to the physician over the mobile device, thereby enhancing the doctors ability to provide enhanced care to patients.
The platform will also offer cardiac care solution to assist cardiologists to monitor and manage patients with angina, myocardial infarction, post cardiac procedures like stent, pacemaker and bypass as well as cardiac failures, from anywhere, through the smart phone or tablets.
In addition, the system aids proactive management of complications, identifying them with intelligent analysis as and when they occur and addressing it based on evidence.
Wipro Infotech chief technology officer TK Padmanabha said mobility-assisted medical technology will be pivotal in saving time, increasing convenience for physicians and the patients and improving productivity, patient care while cutting down costs.
