The German sales branch of the edgeband producer Roma Plastik which trades as Roma Plastik Deutschland and in which the Egger Group has had a majority holding since May 2010, will move from its existing location in Rheda-Wiedenbrück to Brilon with effect from 1 May 2013. Egger has acquired an existing building there in the vicinity of the particleboard and MDF/HDF plant. Buffer storage is to be set up again at the new site on the basis of a just-in-time delivery service for industrial clients supplied through Roma Plastik Deutschland. The existing warehouse in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, which has been located in a rented building since 2009, is to be given up.
