BMW To Unveil M760Li XDrive At The Geneva Motor Show 2016

BMW will unveil the previously announced M760Li XDrive at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 which will be its flagship variant in the 7 Series model range.

The luxury sedan is powered by 12 cylinder TwinPower Turbo 6.6 liter petrol engine with and High Precision Injection.

This engine generates a power output of 448kW (610hp) and a torque of 590lb.ft (800Nm).

The power is transmitted to the wheels by an 8-speed Steptronic sport transmission, which helps the sedan to sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 155mph (250km/h).

The combined fuel consumption for this vehicle is 22.4 mpg (12.6 liters/100km).

It is equipped with all-wheel drive system and model specific suspension tuning.

The luxury sedan is also equipped with BMW ConnectedDrive products and services including BMW Professional Multimedia system with high resolution touchscreen and iDrive Touch Controller.

There is also BMW ConnectedDrive Services which enables access to intelligent link-up of driver, vehicle and the outside world.

Apart from the launch of this sedan, BMW will also debut its iPerformance model designation which, from July 2016, will identify the transfer of technology from BMWi to BMW core brand.

The iPerformance models will benefit from the transfer of technical expertise pertaining electric motors, battery cells and electronic control systems.

This will enable in the development of plug-in hybrids across all the BMW models.

BMW says that for hybrid plug-in variants, there will be visual indicators such as the BMW i- logo on the front side panel, BMW i-style blue elements in the kidney grille and wheel hubs, and an eDrive logo on the C-pillar.
