The Muffin Mam, a US-based wholesale baked goods distributor, is recalling its Strawberry Crème Cake as it contains undeclared whole eggs ingredient.
The product subject to the recall include all lot codes of The Muffin Mam brand 24oz Strawberry Crème Cake, bearing UPC code 7-60366-00986-3.
This product was sold in retail stores from 19 March 2011 to 22 January 2013, across West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Pennsylvania within the in-store Bakery area.
No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall. Consumption of this product by people allergic to eggs may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in them. Consumers who have purchased the product are requested to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
