US-based automobile manufacturer Ford Motor has unveiled the special edition F-150 SVT Raptor off-road pickup truck.
The truck is powered by a 6.2L V8 engine paired to an electronic six-speed automatic transmission that generates an output of 411hp and 434lbft of torque.
Features of the vehicle include SelectShift Automatic functionality, four wheel drive (4WD) system with electronic shift-on-the-fly capability for the transfer case, all-terrain tires, internal triple-bypass FOX Racing Shox dampers, skid plates and standard Hill Descent Control.
The vehicle comes with a front axle that features a Torsen differential with 4.10 to 1 gearing, while the rear axle also has 4.10 to 1, with an electronic-locking differential.
Additionally, the vehicle comes with beadlock-capable wheels, high-intensity discharge headlamps and SYNC with MyFord Touch.
Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, first launched in 2009, has recorded sales of 13,000 units in 2012 and a 14% rise in sales during 2013.
