Progresso Launches New Soup Range for Vegans

General Mills’ owned Progresso has launched a new soup range targeting vegans.

Branded as Good Nature, the new vegan soup line is claimed to be made from real ingredients and free from any GMO ingredients, preservatives, and artificial flavors and colors.

Available in three flavors, the Good Natured soup products can be found throughout the US in the soup aisle at a suggested retail price of $3.29 per 17-ounce carton that serves two.

The three flavors in the Good Nature line are Hearty Tomato with Spinach and Roasted Garlic, Hearty Lentil with Garden Vegetables and Hearty Corn and Chipotle Chowder.

Made of different bean bases along with vegetable purees, the Good Natured soups are free from dairy ingredients.

Containing ¾ cups of vegetables per serving, the soup powders can be prepared into delicious and creamy textured soups, according to Progresso.

Progresso marketing manager Roger Galloway said: “We know that consumers are more interested in plant-based diets. With Good Natured soups, we’re celebrating vegetables and showing that beans are not boring and lentils can be fun.

“Whether you start your Mondays going meatless or recently started pinning vegetarian inspiration, our unique flavors will satisfy your hearty appetite.”

Last month, Progresso announced that it had rolled out a healthier version of its 36 chicken soup products, making them free from antibiotic and hormones while also removing artificial flavors and colors that were used before.
