General Motors' Car Division Buick Has Launched The Envision SUV at The 2014 Chengdu Motor

General Motors' car division Buick has launched the Envision SUV at the 2014 Chengdu Motor Show, which is designed especially for the Chinese market.

The car is expected to be launched in Europe with Opel and Vauxhall badges and in Australia it is expected to replace Captiva 5, and Captiva 7.

When compared to Captiva 7 Envision SUV will have 45mm longer wheel base and 30mm longer body.

The Chinese version of the car will be powered by direct-injected and turbocharged 195kW/334Nm 2.0 liter engine.

The car will have front wheel drive but users will have an all-wheel-drive system as an option.

Envision will provide drivers with four drive modes which includes Normal, Tour, Sport and Off-Road drive.

It has safety system similar to most of the SUV in similar range like Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Hill-Start Assist and Forward Collision Alert.

In China it will be released as a five-seater but it is expected to get an upgrade to seven seats by the time Envision hits the global market.
