Crunch Pak, a Washington-based establishment, is recalling 5,471 cases of Crunch Pak Apple Slices as they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The products subject to recall include Crunch Pak Tart Apple Slices 14 ounce bag, Crunch Pak Tart Apple Slices 2 ounce bag with Low Fat Caramel Dip Multi pak of 5, Crunch Pak Tart Apple Slices 2 ounce bag Multi pak of 6, Crunch Pak Tart Apple Slices 3 pound bag, Crunch Pak Sweet Honeycrisp Apple Slices 12 ounce bag and Crunch Pak Blue Raspberry Flavorz Apple Slices 2 ounce bag Multi pak of 5 with Monsters University.
The affected products feature UPC codes 732313141209, 732313091139, 732313121034, 732313481206, 732313120013 and 732313089969.
These products were sold to retail customers, as some of the packs were shipped to regional distribution centers, the company is issuing this recall nationwide to assure that consumers are properly alerted.
Those who have purchased the affected products have been advised not to eat and instead destroy or discard them.
Crunch Pak representatives are contacting retail customers who received the product directly from the company and advised them to withdraw the product from store shelves and inventories.
