Agile practices can be applied to all types of projects and are aimed at improving the customer's satisfaction through an incremental approach which facilitates openness to changes and brings the best out of teams. The Agile Tour is for technology companies of all kind and also for any organisation thinking of developing software like mobile applications to better serve their customers. Agile practices are also increasingly used as a management approach to implement lean and customer focused behaviors in organisations to better interact with customers, suppliers and partners.
Agile practices are more popular than ever, driven by the need for businesses to deliver more with less in today's wavering economic environment. At the end of 2011, the Project Management Institute launched a new PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) program, recognizing the importance of Agile Practices. On April of this year, Steve Denning wrote in Forbes Magazine that: "Agile was the Best-Kept Management Secret on the Planet." The world is quickly becoming Agile and here's your chance to prove that you are too!
A team of experienced and dedicated Agile practitioners are committed to providing a high quality conference to more than 200 anticipated professionals. Featuring four tracks, the event will combine 12 insightful talks and interactive experiences from some of the most seasoned Agile practitioners in the region, including Ellen Grove, Glenn Waters and Mark Levison. The event will also feature two high caliber keynotes in J.B. Rainsberger and Michael J. Hughes. Additionally, an open space will be provided throughout the day allowing anyone to bring a topic forward and discuss it with attendees.
