Lime Microsystems has signed a distribution agreement with Richardson RFPD for its field programmable RF transceivers which are used in wireless broadband systems.
Under the agreement, Richardson RFPD will distribute Lime's LMS6002D multi-band, multi-standard transceiver worldwide, with the exceptions of Korea and Taiwan.
Lime's configurable LMS6002D 0.3–3.8GHz transceiver is aimed at small cell basestations in consumer and infrastructure applications.
“Lime Microsystems’ comprehensive transceiver is a significant addition to our small cell solutions line up," said Chris Marshall, v-p of RF and wireless, Richardson RPFD.
“We have over 150 customers using Lime’s technology and these include everything from military organisations, through to OEMs for telecoms network equipment and consumer devices, so a supply network that supports this large, diverse group of companies and developers is essential," said Lime CEO, Ebrahim Bushehri.
