The European Crude Stainless Steel Output in 2012 Falls by 2% Year on Year

The Germany-based service center Damstahl reported that the European crude stainless steel output totaled 7.4 million tons in 2012, falling by 2% year on year.

Meanwhile, the report indicated that the European stainless steel market would remain sluggish in early 2013.

However, the European stainless steel market might get improved in February, boosted by better demand from downstream buyers, especially the demand from Asia and North America.
