South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors will debut the new 2014 Kia Soul compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) at the upcoming 65th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) scheduled to be held during September 2013 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new vehicle will be made available with two engines including the 1.6L GDI gasoline and CRDi diesel engines paired to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
The compact SUV is based on the company's 2012 Kia Track'ster concept and is equipped with a new platform, which is based on the Kia cee'd vehicle.
Scheduled to go on sale across Europe in early 2014, the new Soul will feature side skirts, wheel arches and black painted roof.
The vehicle will come with front LED lights, rear LED 'halo' lights, HID headlights, keyless entry and push-button engine start, automatic climate control air-conditioning and cruise control.
Features of the new Soul include leather seat trim, ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, panoramic glass sunroof and heated exterior mirrors.
The SUV will come with a choice of three different roof colors including black, white and red as well as 11 exterior paint finishes.
