Korea’s Posco announced to start hot runs at Pohang’s new Finex iron-making plant early this week.
The company’s No.3 Finex plant is scheduled to provide 2 million tons per, and it is planned to be commissioned within the first half of this year.
The new plant capacity will help the company’s total Finex iron-making capacity to reach 4.1 million tons per year.
Currently, Posco already operates two Finex plants, including one 600,000 tons per year and one 1.5 million tons per year.
