Mercedes has started taking orders of its Benz S-Class Cabriolet which is expected to hit dealership from April 2016.
The car is the first open-top luxury four seater from Mercedes-Benz since 1971 and it is the company's sixth variant of the current S-Class family.
S-Class cabriolet features a distinctive design and is equipped with enhanced technology of the S-Class, which includes intelligent climate control for convertibles.
The S 500 cabriolet is powered by V8 engine capable of producing 455 HP with maximum torque of 700 Nm.
Some of the standard equipments of the car include intelligent THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control, LED Intelligent Light System, and electrically adjustable front seats with memory package.
Users can personalize the two door model with the AMG design and equipment line.
The German automaker is also offering an Exclusive Package which includes exclusive designo nappa leather upholstery, consisting of seats and instrument panel in nappa leather and centre armrest and door centre panels.
For those who want to further personalize the car, Mercedes is offering the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system for an additional €773.50.
The neck-level heating system will circulate warm air around the head and neck areas of the occupants from the head restraints.
Mercedes has put a starting price of €139,051.50 for the car.
