Xylem launches Godwin Heidra NC series
Xylem Inc has added to its Godwin dewatering portfolio with the launch of the Godwin Heidra NC series.
Godwin Heidra NC pumps are self-contained hydraulic submersible pumps with Flygt N-technology. They are able to pass stringy and fibrous solids through their impeller without clogging and are suitable for both sewage and clean water applications.
The Godwin Heidra NC series uses the same hydraulic power packs as other Godwin Heidra series pumps for interchangeability between series.
Other features of the Godwin Heidra NC series include a double mechanical seal in its own clean oil bath, which allows for indefinite dry running; biodegradable hydraulic oil; hard-iron (60 HRC) impeller and insert ring; and a hydraulic motor circuit designed to allow automatic starting and stopping without damage to the submersible pump.
