UK-based Mondi Release Liner will introduce a new tape service concept for tape converters, which enables a secure supply of smaller orders.
Mondi Group claimed that the markets for release liner are wide spread and range from automotive, hygiene, electronics, building, medical to the paper and plastic industry as well as aerospace.
Mondi Fibre Packaging CEO Tom Schaebinger said the new tape service concept addresses various challenges of tape converters and ensures a supply security.
"We offer the advantage of a 'One-Stop-Shop', that supplies the converters with small order amounts, in appropriate lead times and furthermore offers market support", he concludes. The seven standard grades are either on stock or produced on a regular basis," Schaebinger said.
The company ensures the accessibility of seven standard grades, covering majority of the industry's liner needs and made the products available in smaller minimum order quantities (MOQ) of around 5.000m2 per product.
Mondi is an international packaging and paper group, with operations across 29 countries, including key operating locations such as entral Europe, Russia and South Africa. It posted revenues of €5.7bn in 2011.
