HENGE's New Collection At Salone Del Mobile

HENGE will present its new 2016 collection designed by Massimo Castagna, artistic director of the brand at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

For the new 2016 collection, the brand experiments in the world of precious and original materials, in the quest for an exclusive perfection. Demonstrating this research, Stone Oak and Stone Elm, fossil woods that have remained buried for centuries under the clay of the undergrowth due to geological changes and have now surfaced with an enchanting charm. HENGE located and used them to create a limited edition of 10 pieces. Additionally, a copper mesh ‘Metal Mesh’, burnished 999 H silver creations ‘Silver’, thick vintage effect E-Type leather and exclusive Web Grey stone.

The value of new furniture and accessories that enhance the materials and quality of workmanship, unveils, for example, in the new HENGE chandelier, composed of multiple Murano glass elements featuring imperfect geometries forming a hand burnished brass empiric lighting installation alongside a wooden console featuring H Silver metal gorges that, suspended on fragile stands rationalizes space. Furthermore, the original triangular coffee table with stone top and brass inserts; perfect example of the synthesis between productive technology and shape.

An obsequious charm that contributes to the creation of an atmosphere of evocative interiors, stripped down of pre-set schemes that are appreciative of value of boundless knowledge handed down from generation to generation, represent the embodiment of real luxury.
