Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC) has launched the new Inline 6 intercooler turbo 6M60-TLE3BA industrial engine model for heavy-duty special-purpose vehicles.
The new engine meets the requiements of Japan's latest emission regulations, while achieving 88% reduced PM and 45% lower NOx emissions than the 2006 emission regulations.
Incorporating high-performance cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system to improve fuel efficiency and lower NOx emissions, the new industrial engine model generates an output of 775Nm of torque at 1,600rpm.
The Inline 6 intercooler turbo engine adopts a common-rail system for precision injection control, in addition to a regeneration-control diesel particulate filter (DPF) for emissions gas after-treatment system.
Fuso's industrial engine range also includes the 6M60, which power several heavy-duty vehicles in Japan and international markets for heavy-duty construction machineries such as excavators and rough terrain cranes, and on mobile motor-generators.
