US based restaurant chain Buffets has launched Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken – a new addition to the company's Mongolian Stir Fry.
The new Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken features tender chicken, fresh pineapple, and a special Teriyaki sauce. It is available at 337 buffet-style restaurants.
The company noted that eriyaki Pineapple Chicken is prepared with moist chicken thigh meat and freshly diced pineapple that are tossed together over a high heat with a Teriyaki sauce. This combination is served over a bed of white rice. Customers can also customize the item, by choosing beef, shrimp or vegetables for their main ingredient, or substituting noodles for rice.
In addition, Buffets is offering a new Strawberry Mandarin Salad that complements the Teriyaki Pineapple Chicken. This salad features sweet and juicy strawberry and mandarin slices, Craisins, red onions, and candied almonds tossed with fresh Spring greens.
Buffets, a steak-buffet restaurant company, currently operates 347 restaurants in 35 states, comprised of 337 steak-buffet restaurants and 10 Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse restaurants. The restaurants are principally operated under the Old Country Buffet, HomeTown Buffet and Ryan's brands.
