In Spring/Summer 2015 Graphic Patterns Set The Tone

In Spring/Summer 2015 graphic patterns set the tone: black is the new summer colour making for innovative looks in combination with sporty white. Sporty styles with casually relaxed lines are now finding their way into everyday fashion and are the winners of the season. For us denim continues to be a strong player and features in all its facets,” says,  Maria Hebel, Head of Design Womenswear Atelier GARDEUR

With its womenswear trouser collection in Spring/Summer 2015 Atelier GARDEUR presents a range of fashion trends: from graphic patterns and natural jungle harmonies with ethnic influences through to summery light floral prints in pastels.

The colour scheme spans black and white combinations and intense blue and red tones through to earthy natural hues like khaki, nude and Sahara beige and delicate summer pastels. The silhouette remains slim and particularly features in casual, slim jogging styles or sporty 5-pockets.

The Themes
Art Pop: “Art meets Fashion” – there are two things that belong together! And this is also demonstrated by the clear lines in the Summer collection: graphic patterns dominate and feature in strong black and white duos or in dynamic combination with bold colours like Yves Klein blue or Mondrian red. Geo-jacquards in three dimensional looks make for lively designs with dominant black and white shades.

Ankle-length cigarette pants with black-contrasted details on a graphic background bring discreet patchwork looks into play. Jogging styles with light and loose lines and predominantly technical fabrics stand for casualness in summer! Key here are sporty findings like string, elasticated cording and zipper details in raw metallic looks. Bootcuts for pyjama styles and 5-pockets round off the theme.

Ethno Mix: Inspired by nature the “Ethno Mix” theme conveys a jungle mood with earthy notes. Indispensable here are discreet ethnic textures that create an overall feminine and sensual safari style. Natural tones like Sahara beige, khaki and nude determine the colour scheme and are rounded off by off-white.

Prints are increasingly moving into the foreground: animal skin looks like python or leopard are contrasted with floral prints featuring blossoms and plant designs. Silky fabrics look flowing while lightweight textured cottons add lively freshness. Soft metallic coatings and shiny effects in rose gold and copper add luxury accents. Tinting in earthy tones gives the denims a discreet ethno look.
