Rexam Beverage Can is all set to introduce a sample of its new aluminum FUSION Contour bottle, which is based on the company’s Drawn Wall Ironed (DWI) technology and is 100% recyclable.
The shatterproof, safe and cold to the touch bottle is said to maintain key functional elements of the company's original FUSION bottle and is lightweight and resealable.
UK-based Rexam claims that the bottle will also offer good graphic potential using the company's high definition illustration impact technology.
Rexam new product development marketing manager Kym Hamer said the company is showcasing its new FUSION Contour to give an insight to its customers of what will be available to them in the future.
"We are seeing consumer trends constantly evolving and the FUSION Contour bottle is being developed to help our customers capitalise on these changes," Hamer said.
Rexam Beverage Can will introduce the new FUSION Contour bottle prototype at BRAU Beviale 2012, held from 13 to 15 November in Germany.
