Word & Brown General Agency has introduced Health Reform Resource Center, to provide insurance brokers with easy access to information for guiding customers to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare options.
The new online resource center assist consumers and small business owners understand and comply with the Affordable Care Act (healthcare reform) new requirements.
The resource center provides information on all aspects of healthcare reform including California Health Benefit Exchange (Covered California), qualified health plans, essential health benefits as well as guaranteed availability and renewability.
Additionally, the resource centre provides information of small business healthcare tax credits, premium tax credit and cost-sharing subsidy, individual insurance requirements, 90-day waiting period limitation, health flexible spending account changes for 2013.
Information on required 60-day notice on plan modifications and W-2 reporting of employer-sponsored coverage are also provided for insurance brokers by the new resource center.
