KIA has started selling the electric version of the Soul car in the UK, which is subsidized under the UK governments plug in car grant.
The car is powered by a 27 Kwh battery which enables it to go to a maximum range of 132 miles, and according to the company the car has higher energy density than those fitted to other current EVs.
The new Soul is capable of producing 109bhp, and pump 285 Nm of torque and it features a Virtual Engine Sound system in both forward and reverse gears which alerts pedestrians to the presence of the vehicle.
The car also features heated and cooled ventilated seats, heated steering wheel and flow-through ventilation which is similar to that of Nissan Leaf.
