Pankaboard has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of new cartonboard for luxury packaging market.
The company has developed new Pankalux GC1 folding boxboard for luxury packaging market, specifically beverage sector.
Pankaboard is providing the new folding boxboard in the substance range of 285gsm to 560 gsm.
According to the company, the new Pankalux has been designed to support better printing quality and runnability on high speed packaging lines.
In addition, the new cartonboard will provide an improved surface for lamination.
The company will showcase the Pankalux at the FachPack exhibition in Germany.
Pankaboard produces cartonboard solutions for packaging, various graphical and industrial applications, as well as food service products.
Pankaboard said that all its boards are virgin fibre-based and approved for food contact.
The company’s product portfolio includes high thickness folding boxboards and uncoated speciality cartonboards.
Its products can be used in a wide range of applications, including luxury beverage and food packaging, picture framing, capseals and visual communication.
The company supplies groundwood boards and uncoated specialities for various end-uses and applications, as well as solid bleached board for the food and graphical industries.
Groundwood boards are suitable for display laminates, picture frames, food trays and other technical laminates, while uncoated specialty cartonboards are designed for segments such as cap seals, food service, coasters and ecological packaging.
With around 160 employees, the company provides services to around 500 customers in 65 countries across the globe.
