PTI Secured New Orders Worth Over INR 955 Crore

PTI quoted Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd saying that it has secured new orders worth over INR 955 crore,including overseas projects.

Kalpataru Power said that the company,which is into the engineering,procurement and construction business,has bagged a INR 405 crore order from the State run Power Grid for supply and installation of transmission lines.

Among others,the company has bagged an order worth INR 140 crore in Armenia,besides a project to the tune of INR 65 crore in Philippines.The entity also has orders to be implemented in Uganda.

Mr Manish Mohnot executive director of KPTL said that"We continue to focus on increasing our footprint in the international markets and have been successful in entering two new countries,Uganda and Armenia.We have further strengthened our foothold in Africa and CIS region with these contracts."
