Chinese automobile manufacturer GAC Motor is expanding its footprint in the Middle East with the introduction of its vehicles in Lebanon and Qatar.
The car maker has partnered with distributors Bazerji Motors in Lebanon and Domasco in Qatar.
Betting big on Lebanon with its Trumpchi GA3S and Trumpchi GS5 models, the company aims to expand its offerings by flagging off more models in the country. The Chinese automaker has also opened its office in Lebanon.
GAC has tied up with Bazerji Motors to utilize its showrooms for the promotion of its vehicles in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
In Qatar, GAC Motor will introduce GA3, GA3S and GS5, followed by new models, such as GS5S and GA6.
GAC Motor won the 'Outstanding Contribution Award' at Arab-Chinese Businessmen Conference in recognition of its move to go global. In keeping with China's 'One Belt, One Road' strategy, the organizers have dubbed GAC Motor's passenger cars the exclusive official vehicles.
