Interfilière Paris Offers Events on Fibres and Beachwear

For this summertime session, Interfilière Paris offers a wide array of events with a special focus on fibres and beachwear. The indispensable General Forum is, of course, part of the trade show, but now there’s a new space dedicated to beachwear, and another special forum on fibres taking a close look at what’s new in that sector.

The Gallery’ trends forum
For winter 15-16 trends and summer 2016 preview, three major axes are clear: the appearance of astonishing colours and prints, extra attention to delicate details (often in contrasting tones), and the wide use of sport as a style element.

These trends are organized into four themes:
-Wuthering Heights
This story reflects a woman’s epic, romantic moods, and her desire for rich, deep colours and luxurious textures, but without flamboyance.
-Bloomsbury
This artistic reference is slightly bohemian, like Virginia Woolf’s intellectual universe, with corresponding arty colours and prints.
-Beatrix Potter
Here’s the place for fairy tale fantasies with soft, snugly, comforting textures, and time
honoured pastels.
-David Hockney
This theme introduces a new, season-less world, and a festival of colours and artistic prints for cruise and demi-season collections.

Momenti di Passione
Interfilière Paris kicks off the 2016 beachwear season with the new ‘Momenti di passione’ space dedicated to innovation and performance in the beachwear and leisure apparel markets. For the first time, a prototype fashion show will bring the latest ideas to life on the catwalk with prototypes created by beachwear fabrics manufacturers. The project is managed by Jos Berry from Concepts Paris with guest Paola Maltese, an Italian designer specializing in beachwear. Ms. Maltese will create a ‘live trend book’ to express her passion for design and her vision of the market.

Business Networking Service
This customized service will connect exhibitors with visitors and help visitors make the best purchasing choices at the trade show.

The trade show boutique
The ‘Momenti di passione’ space will also include a boutique with upcycled, spin-off products made from past trade show billboards and graphics, as well as notebooks customized with recycled embroidery covers.
