Inteva Products, an automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, has opened a new technical center in Bangalore, India.
The state-of-the-art Center of Expertise expands Inteva’s technical capabilities and footprint in the region. The center houses advanced engineering support, design, development, durability testing, and functional testing teams.
These teams focus on developing and launching advanced technologies in roof systems, closures, and motors & electronics for Inteva’s global customers. The center currently employs more than 200 research and development engineers, with plans for additional growth.
Led by President, CEO and Founder Lon Offenbacher, Inteva’s executive leadership team will celebrate the grand opening of the new facility on September 28, during an invitation-only event. Employees, customers, suppliers, and dignitaries will attend the event, which will include a tour, lunch, and ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
Offenbacher said: “I’m pleased to help commemorate the opening of this new technical facility with our Bangalore employees and guests.

Since it was founded in 2008, Inteva has grown dramatically and tripled its global footprint with new facilities in all regions of the world. By the end of this year, the company will have opened new sites in five countries.
In addition to Bangalore, Inteva has expanded its presence in Rychnov, Czech Republic; Oradea, Romania; Guanajuato, Mexico and Zhenjiang, China.
