Lexus, the luxury vehicle arm of Toyota, has introduced 2016 Lexus LX 570, armed with V8 engine, 4WD chassis and seating arrangement for eight.
While eight-speed automatic transmission has substituted the former six-speed for enhanced performance and efficiency, the New Drive Mode Select enables the LX 570 driver to trigger powertrain and suspension responses.
It is also capable of controlling responses of the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) that continually adjusts shock absorber damping rates while driving.
The 5.7-liter V8 engine can produce 383 horsepower and display 90% of its 403lbft peak torque at just 3,600rpm.
The 12.3-inch navigation can also display view combinations, such as, panoramic or driver's side to aid the driver.
The new avatar also flaunts Lexus Safety System + which couples Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Intelligent High Beam (IHB) and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
The All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control acts in tandem with a range of speeds, tracks the speed of the vehicle traveling ahead and adjusts the speed setting.
In the event of emergency, Lexus Enform Safety Connect provides emergency calling capability to Lexus Enform response centers.
The four-wheel Active Traction Control system (A-TRAC) also claims to control wheel slip, with the help of Multi-Terrain Select system.
