Japanese carmaker Nissan has unveiled the next-generation Teana in China.
The vehicle is expected to be powered by 2.5L QR25DE petrol engine, which is mated to a Xtronic continuous variable transmission (CVT) and it is expected to generate output of 182hp.
Scheduled to go on sale by March 2013, the vehicle will be manufactured at Dongfeng Nissan's vehicle plant in Xiangyang, Hubei province in China.
Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer said: "Not only does Teana meet the needs and desires of our customers, but we also expect it will strengthen our position in the demanding luxury sedan segment."
Features of the sedan include rear multi-link suspension system and redesigned rear view monitor camera.
First launched in 2003, the Teana has reported sales of one million units across 74 countries and regions, while recording sales of 700,000 units in China since its launch in 2004.
