Land Rover has announced Range Rover Evoque SW1 special edition - Inspired by Britain - with Laser Head-Up Display (HUD) that is set to debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Range Rover Evoque SW1 special edition is the first in a series of "Inspired by Britain" special editions from Jaguar Land Rover and will be commercially available from mid-October.
The HUD technology displays important information like gear position, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control set speed and road speed on the cars windscreen, which is designed to minimise driver distraction.
Evoque SW1 features British flag on various parts, including the rear spoiler and will be offered in Firenze Red, Loire Blue Fuji White, Corris Grey and Santorini Black colours. It also features a 20-inch alloy wheel with Fuji white finish.
Range Rover's nine speed automatic transmission has been retained in the new model, which will be powered by 4WD 2.2 liter diesel engine capable of producing 140 horsepower and pump 420Nm of torque.
Land Rover design director Gerry McGovern said: "The Range Rover Evoque is a fresh interpretation of classic Range Rover design cues.
"These special editions are a celebration of our Britishness. Evoque is designed and engineered in Britain and we know that resonates with our Global consumers."
