International Flavors & Fragrances has opened a new facility in Chicago city, in the US state of Illinois.
With a culinary center and an advanced application and flavor creation laboratories, the facility will offer flavors which will be supplied to the food and beverage industry across the Chicago area.
The facility will enable the company to cater to its key customers in the Midwest region and to partner with them to make healthier solutions.
International Flavors & Fragrances CEO Andreas Fibig said: "Providing excellent support to our customers that allows for greater collaboration and increased speed-to-market is a priority for us.
"As the new office expands our coverage in the region, it simultaneously provides customers with local culinary, applications and flavors expertise along with access to our regional and global resources."
So far, the company invested in several projects which include a manufacturing facility in Indonesia, creative center; sales office and applications labs in Chile, and a liquid flavors and fragrances manufacturing facility in Singapore.
In addition, the company opened new creative and technical facilities in Delhi, India; in Guangzhou, Beijing and Chengdu, China, and in Dubai, UAE.
