The Japanese architect Toyo Ito, is building on his series with objects for the dinner table. The liquid forms in the porcelain dinnerware series KU, designed in 2006, is now complemented by the tableware set MU, meaning hexagonal in Japanese.
The precision of the hearty but still slender handle refers to the shape of Asian chopsticks and contrasts with the rounded profiles of the spoons and knife blades.
